(Pen name - Krishna Leela Prakash)

Krishna Leela Prakash was born in a pious Hindu family against the backdrop of a tropical ‘paradise’ island, the Republic of Mauritius, and grew up feeling somewhat alienated from his Ancestral Motherland - Bharatvarsh - or modern-day India.  As a child, he always had a reverence for Hinduism and the Vedic culture, but grew up never really understanding the science and philosophy behind them.  That was until he stumbled across a small book entitled "Beyond Birth and Death" by A.C Bhaktivedanta Swami, affectionately called Srila Prabhupada, by his followers worldwide. His life changed forever.  He avidly read all his books, comprising a veritable library of Vedic knowledge, as his life changed “one book at a time”. He would later take spiritual life seriously even while in school at the country's premier institution, the Royal College Curepipe, and practice mantra meditation under the auspices of the ISKCON Centre in Phoenix, benefiting from the association and favour of saints and devotees. Chanting the Holy Names of Lord Krishna with diligence and surrender gave him deep, blissful mystical experiences as his relationship with Krishna grew leaps and bounds.  He remains to this day a fervent devotee of Lord Krishna who, in his own words, has helped him “overcome life’s myriad troubles” and inspired him to follow the Vedic way of life.   Nithin has also excelled in the world of academics as a national topper in English (General Paper) in his A-Levels, securing a national science side ranking.  He has pursued his higher educational qualification with the Chartered Institute of Information Technology (UK) and is a Professional Member (MBCS) of the British Computer Society.  His first book, The Spiritual Science of the Vedas, is a spiritual offering to Srila Prabhupada, the founder of ISKCON, and is his attempt to further Prabhupada's vision of a world redeemed by Krishna Consciousness.  He sheds a new light on Vedic philosophy, unravels the Kundalini energy in meditation and expounds on Vedic knowledge as a highly advanced and elegant scientific pursuit.
